Negative energy influences

I was surprised when I revisited this article on negative energy influences - surprised when I read the part about me using a special ultra low radiation computer monitor from a company called Safe Computing.

I had forgotten all about it. But yes, at one time I did go through that much trouble to minimise my exposure to computer radiation. And I know of one person who has the entire electrical wiring of his house done in such a way that the electromagnetic waves cancel out each other.

While we cannot totally avoid some forms of negative energy influences, many can be avoided or at least minimised. Some are, in fact, totally unnecessary.

This article was first published in a 1995 issue of The Good Life, which focused on the theme of energy.

A friend went for a check up using Electro Acupuncture (EAV) and was puzzled and shocked that all the readings on the right side of his body were very low.

His liver reading was near zero. Now my friend knows his liver is weak. He had hepatitis before. But near zero means that should have been dead. Or very, very ill. Yet he was very much alive and well.

When he reached home. He realized why. During the test, he had his pager in his right pocket. The battery in it interfered with his energy flow and affected the readings of the EAV machine.

Modern life is full of negative energy influences. Below is a brief check list of things to try and avoid, plus suggestions for safer alternatives.

Pagers: After that incident, my friend decided to carry his pager in a clutch bag, but he kept forgetting because he is not used to the habit. So back into his pocket it went.

“It’s like how strictly you want to eat,“ he says. “I guess if I am ill, I will not carry a pager. Recently my wife took the pager for two weeks and I was very happy because no one contacted me!”

Pagers are no longer in fashion these days but the same principle applies. ANYTHING with a battery or an active electrical circuit asserts a negative energy influence and is best avoided. Don't carry such items close to your body.

Handphones: They work on microwave signals that can burn your brain cells!

Are you really that important that you must be contacted at all times? If so, carry a pager. A pager allows you to respond as and when you wish. With a handphone, you must respond immediately.

Ha ha, this was written back in 1995! Today, I, too, carry a handphone. I remember it took be a while to decide to buy one but now I have gotten so used to the convenience that I have decided to compromise.

But I do have one friend who still is able to avoid using a mobile phone. And I read that Warren Buffett, the second richest man in the world, does not use one either!

So yes, even in this day and age, you can live without a handphone if you really want to. Your friends might be annoyed that they cannot contact you so easily. But it's YOUR brain cells that are being burned!

Microwave oven, electric stove, rice cookers, crock pots, water hot pots, and other electrical cooking appliances: These surround your food with an electromagnetic field.

Crock pots and “air pot” water heaters are especially to be avoided, since your food or water stays in there for very long periods. Also, water has a special ability to retain energy influences, especially negative energy.

Air conditioning: If you are vegetarian or near vegetarian and if you adjust your diet to suit your natural environment, you won’t need one.

My bedroom has air-conditioning -- it came with the flat I bought. But in seven years, I probably have not used it for more than 30 days. Right now (October 2007) I don't even know if it is working. I had not switched in on for years.

Television: Some people like to snack while watching television. Others fall asleep. There is a reason for this: TV radiation is weakening.

Sit at least two metres away. Sit at an angle rather than directly in front. For those who are seriously ill, macrobiotics counselors recommend no more than 30 minutes of TV a day.

The good news today is that flat screen LCD television and computer monitor screens do not emit as much radiation as old-type CRT (cathode ray tube) montors.

Computer: Push the monitor screen as far back as possible.

“Radiation protection” shields that you place over the screen help a little, but they only reduce certain types of radiation, not all types.

I use a special ultra low radiation monitor, from a company called Safe Computing in the US. I also replaced the power cord with an EMF Modulator. This changes the radiation into a form that it not (or less) harmful. It seems to work as I don’t feel as tired a t the computer nowadays.

Notebook computers don’t emit radiation because of the LCD screen. But then, placing a computer, with its battery and integrated circuits, on your lap will only subject you to more negative energy influences.

Hair dryers: Electric hair dryers generate stronger radiation than computer screens.

But hair dryers are not used eight hours a day everyday. Wall mounted hair dryers are better since you don’t hold the part with electric transformer.

Electric shavers: Do you need one? This is one negative energy influence that is totally unnecessary.

Quartz watches: The wrist, where watches are usually worn, is packed with major acupuncture points. So don’t wear a battery there. Use a pocket watch, or hang it by your waist. Better still, use mechanical (winding or automatic) watches.

Even better still, don't wear a watch. I have not worn one for more than 25 years already. I remember, one day when I was working in the newsaper office at Business Times, it suddenly occured to me that I was surrounded by clocks. There was an office clock on the wall, a clock on the computer screen, a clock in my car, clocks in most public places...

So again, a quartz watch is another totally unnecessary negarive energy influence.

Metal spectacle frames: This is one surprising, little known negative energy influence.

Metal across the bridge of your nose will “short circuit” the gall bladder meridian, a major meridian at the front of your face. I learnt about this when I attended a workshop on natural vision improvement in the mid-1990s. Since then I have used only plastic frames.

Crowd places: This, too, is another source of negative energy that few people think about.

In Unseen Influences, Dick Sutphen talks about “energy vampires” – people who drain your energy. So avoid crowds, except churches, temples, parties and paces where people pray or celebrate.

Also avoid people who are negative, complaining, seeking pity, etc. Or, learn how to uplift them.

How? For instructions, read The Celestine Prophecy.
