How to sense, feel and see auras?Lesa is an American lady who used to run classes in Singapore on how to sense and see energy fields. and had contributed these articles, which were published in the November 2005 issue of The Good Life. Part I of the article explains what auras are and what they mean. It tells us that... An aura is a subtle, “invisible” essence or fluid that emanates from all things living and non-living. It is an electromagnetic field creating a force field which people have long known to circulate around through the body as electrical currents.
Before we learn how to see auras, Lesa explains how to sense and feel them... Sensing and feeling the auraMost of us have had the experience of sensing or feeling something behind us only to find that when we turn around, someone is there. Try the following exercise: Find a partner. “A” sits in a chair. “B” stands behind with arms raised above A’s shoulders, palms toward the body. Now A spends about one minute concentrating on each of the following emotions. Tell your partner when you are changing emotions:
Person B close your eyes. Relax your body. Lift and move your hands very slowly, concentrating on the palms of your hands as you let them float over A’s auric field. Spend about 1 minute on each emotion. We recently did this exercise in a class and here are some comments...
In the next part of this article, Lesa Wong shares her experiences of seeing auras and tells how you, too, can see auras.
Seeing halos and rainbows
As I became more aware of the aura, I’d notice it at odd times when I wasn’t trying. I never particularly tried or practiced, but was able to see auras the halo (yellow-white) around people for about seven years. As I saw it more frequently and at will, my doubts about whether it was a shadow or light or an optical illusion began to slip away.
Seeing the aura didn’t get exciting for me until I began seing the colours. Then it happened in one day... I was looking at my boss across our office at the bank and saw a large, bright, red cone on top of his head. What a shock! If I had to interpret it, I would say he had some wishful thinking about his girlfriend. I’ve been seeing all the colours ever since. There was a pukey green aura I saw once. That indicates negatively or sickness. Another time, I was working with a client at the bank helping her make some extensive financial investment choices. I saw a beautiful lilac aura all around her. I didn’t mention it at first because it didn’t seem an appropriate setting. But the lilac didn’t go away and finally. I felt compelled to blurt it out. When she asked me what it meant, I was so happy to say it represented spiritual guidance. She went on to make her difficult decisions with greater peace of mind.
Clarity when you see auras It’s not so important what colour the aura is. More important is its clarity. Sometimes, the aura might look as if someone is wearing ear muffs. As people think different thoughts, it can change like a lava lamp slow and oozing. I saw a square aura once. I was told it was “out of balance”. Other times, it might be like shooting stars coming out all around the person’s head. The best thing to do is not to expect anything in particular, as we are all unique. The aura changes colour and shape according to what you are thinking, past life karma, condition of your physical health, emotional state and other factors.
See auras in plants Plants have an aura that reminds me of petrol on hot pavement as it floats up and evaporates. Auras which I have seen on objects have had a more stable force field around it not moving or changing, just radiating. This does not mean that it is not moving, just that I cannot see it. Remember to sense and see the auras around everything, with your peripheral vision.
How to see auras - your own aura To see auras, try this exercise... The lighting in the room should be dim enough so that a white wall papers grayish. Some people prefer a very dark room or a black wall for the background. You will need to experiment and find which is best for you. Begin by rubbing your palms together rapidly to increase the energy. Then, holding your hands at arm’s length against the ceiling, palms facing you, notice the space between the fingers of your two hands. Throw your eyes slightly out of focus. There must be no strain or physical effort. Do not try to consciously “see auras” as it actually comes with your peripheral vision. I always say, “Get that fresh love look!” Do you remember a teen romance? Or the way you looked at your partner on your wedding day? Or how about the way you look at a newborn infant? Use these to see auras.
How to see auras - another person Now try it with a person standing against a solid colour wall. You stand approximately 5 to 10 metres away and focus about a half metre in front of their forehead. Relax your eyes; get that “fresh love” look. Breathe deeply. Patience is essential when you wish to see auras. Stop when your eyes get tired. Hold your skepticism and be positive. And have fun.
